At Terre di Giorgio, we grow organic saffron in Val d’Orcia and offer it as pure threads—a small but distinctive expression of our farm.
From harvesting to drying
Production follows meticulous, low-impact steps: the flowers are harvested by hand, the stigmas are carefully separated and then dried under controlled conditions. This preserves their aromatic intensity, colour and purity.
Part of our organic range
Our saffron is grown under the same organic principles as the rest of the estate. It joins CALUS and DIANA wines, CALUS extra virgin olive oil and grappa in our range of farm products.
