Terre di Giorgio – Villa La Palazzetta is our agriturismo in Castiglione d’Orcia, between the hills of Val d’Orcia and Monte Amiata. We welcome you to our rooms and suites, with a pool overlooking the countryside and a seasonal restaurant where you can discover the flavours of our land. The farmhouse was built in 1935 by the Counts Cervini, in the valley to the north-west of the village. Today, it is where we share our way of life in the countryside: from breakfast on the terrace to experiences on our organic farm.

Rooms and suites, two views of Val d’Orcia
Villa La Palazzetta has eight rooms and suites, each spacious and light-filled, with a quiet atmosphere and thoughtful Tuscan interiors. Our booking system offers Classic, Superior, Deluxe, Suite and Suite Deluxe categories. Six rooms and suites on the first floor overlook either Monte Amiata or the hills where our cattle graze. The two on the ground floor dispongono invece di un terrazzo privato, per vivere la quiete della campagna in uno spazio ancora più personale. Ti accogliamo dalla primavera all’inverno. Dal 1° novembre 2026 restano disponibili le nostre sei camere, mentre le due suite al piano terra si prendono una pausa. L’ultimo pernottamento prima della chiusura invernale è il 9 gennaio 2027, con partenza il 10; camere e suite riaprono venerdì 19 marzo 2027.
Our two Deluxe rooms and Mezzadro, in the Superior category, overlook Monte Amiata. Private terraces are exclusive to our suites, giving you a quiet space of your own to enjoy the countryside.
Pets are welcome at no extra charge.
Our Superior and Deluxe rooms have air conditioning, so you can rest comfortably even on the warmest days.
Breakfast
Each morning begins on the terrace overlooking Val d’Orcia, with breakfast prepared in our kitchen using ingredients from our farm and nearby producers. Breakfast includes freshly baked bread and cakes, eggs, vegetables from our kitchen garden, seasonal fruit, butter, honey, artisan preserves, Tuscan prosciutto, local cheeses and our own extra virgin olive oil.
Espresso, cappuccino and tea are served daily from 7.30 to 9.30 am during the agriturismo’s opening periods.
Wine tastings
Taste our wines during the restaurant season, from spring to 31 October. Pair them with local cheeses and bruschetta dressed with our CALUS organic extra virgin olive oil. Experiences are suspended from 1 November 2026 to 25 March 2027 inclusive.
Aperitif
When the agriturismo is open, our bar welcomes you from 3 to 7 pm, including during the restaurant’s break. Enjoy a glass of Terre di Giorgio wine with a board of local cured meats and cheeses and, weather permitting, relax on our terrace overlooking Val d’Orcia and Monte Amiata.
Swimming pool
The pool is open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. for all our guests. Overlooking Monte Amiata, it is an ideal place to read, enjoy a glass of wine or simply take in the peace of the countryside.

A guided experience in the local countryside, followed by a lunch celebrating truffles and the estate’s cuisine. Availability and the programme vary with the season.
Vineyard walk with picnic
A walk through the vineyards to get to know our land, followed by a picnic amid the scenery of Val d’Orcia. Depending on the time of year, we gather around the table at Terre di Giorgio – Villa La Palazzetta instead of having a picnic in the vineyard. The experience is available by reservation: we agree on the programme together when you enquire.
Experiences follow the restaurant season and are suspended from 1 November 2026 to 25 March 2027 inclusive. The restaurant reopens on Friday, 26 March 2027. To check experience dates and conditions, please write to prenotazioni@giorgio.land.
