Closer to the countryside: Terre di Giorgio’s glamping project for 2027
For 2027, we are exploring a new way to stay at Terre di Giorgio: a premium glamping project for those who want to feel closer to the countryside while enjoying thoughtful hospitality. It is an idea in development, not accommodation that is available or open for bookings yet.
Before shaping the details, we would love to hear from people who already know us and those considering Val d’Orcia for a future trip. Above all, we have one question: what makes a night close to nature truly special?
Time to enjoy the landscape
For some, it is waking up and feeling immediately connected to the place around them. For others, it is stepping outside, walking, reading or putting the phone away for a few hours. Some picture a quiet break as a couple; others want less hurried days with their family.
These are the things we want to build on. We hope to find a comfortable, considerate way to make the landscape home for a few days. For us, premium means attention to what matters: good rest, privacy, a warm welcome and the pleasure of feeling at ease in the place you have chosen.
Keeping close to life on the farm
We want this new kind of stay to retain the character of Terre di Giorgio: countryside that is farmed, not just admired; produce whose origins you can discover; and encounters that grow from time spent together.
The grape harvest we shared with some of our guests reminded us how rewarding it is to share a little of farm life with visitors from far away. The same wish lies behind our new experiences centred on olive harvesting and saffron at dawn: bringing our guests closer to the seasons of the land, in a simple, genuine way.
Our glamping project grows from this approach to hospitality. Its features, services and timetable are still to be decided. We would rather share the journey openly, starting with what matters to you, before presenting the finished proposal.
