Terre di Giorgio · Organic farming

The olive harvest is about to begin. At Terre di Giorgio, we would like to share this moment with people who love the countryside and want to get to know it: join us among the olive trees, follow the harvest and stay for lunch. This experience is not available from 1 November 2026 to 25 March 2027 inclusive, while the restaurant and experiences are suspended.
It is a simple invitation, rooted in what hospitality means to us. We like a stay to leave you with more than a photograph: a conversation, something new you have learnt, the memory of a morning outdoors. Autumn is a lovely time to meet this way, as work in the fields gathers pace.
The Val d’Orcia landscape is more than a beautiful backdrop. It is working farmland, shaped by the seasons and by busy days in the fields. During the harvest, we would like to share a little of this everyday life with you, with time to watch, ask questions and take part alongside us.
You do not need any special knowledge: curiosity is a good place to start. We will tell you more when you arrive, beginning with the olive trees and the work behind a bottle of oil. Before your visit, we will send the practical details, from where to meet to what to wear.
Then we sit down to lunch. It is a natural way to round off the morning: taking a seat, picking up a conversation and getting to know Terre di Giorgio through its food. Our CALUS extra virgin olive oil is part of the same story. We want you to discover it by starting where it comes from.
Lunch will be part of the day’s experience; we will send you the menu and conditions along with the available dates. The experience is suspended from 1 November 2026 to 25 March 2027 inclusive. This way, you can choose knowing what to expect and let us know about any dietary requirements when you enquire.
Email us about the harvest and lunch experience, or make it part of a stay at our agriturismo. Staying a little longer leaves room for other things too: a walk, a village, an afternoon with no fixed plans. You will find a few ideas in our guide to autumn in Val d’Orcia to help you start planning.
Harvest days follow the rhythm of the grove. Email prenotazioni@giorgio.land letting us know when you would like to visit, how many people will be coming and whether you would like to stay overnight. We will confirm whether the experience is available on your requested dates, excluding 1 November 2026 to 25 March 2027 inclusive. Harvest dates depend on the rhythm of the fields.
We look forward to meeting you among the olive trees, before welcoming you to the table.
