The harvest lunch: from vineyard to table
On Saturday 17 October 2026 at 1 pm, Terre di Giorgio welcomes a limited number of guests to its harvest lunch. Join us to share the story of the year’s work, meet the people behind our wines and savour the connection between vineyard, cuisine and the Val d’Orcia landscape. The fixed price is €50 per person.
The people behind the wine, together at the table
All the members of the estate involved in the wine-growing and winemaking chain will attend. It is an opportunity to hear about the harvest from those who work here, ask questions and discover the decisions that accompany the grapes from vine to wine. Conversation will explore our philosophy and vine-training techniques in an informal, welcoming setting.
Distinct places, thoughtful choices
We grow native Tuscan grape varieties in vineyards around 600 metres above sea level, placing particular value on the most suitable plots. We choose to tell the story of each place and the work that interprets it, rather than treating a geographical designation as a promise of quality. The same care guides our cuisine and hospitality: Terre di Giorgio as one experience, from the countryside to the table.
The lunch menu
The menu published on TheFork includes a starter, a main course, dessert and drinks. Local flavours and convivial cooking will accompany the story of the harvest.
- Starter: cured meats and cheeses from Monte Amiata with honey and fruit mostarda.
- Main course: chargrilled suckling pig with potatoes baked in foil.
- Dessert: Terre di Giorgio cantucci and Vin Santo.
- Drinks: Terre di Giorgio wines and local wines.
